Calculated Indifference April 25, 2007

I have never been a patron of the arts
And after decades of public television and radio
You would be foolish to ask me why.
Carry your calculated indifference back to your room.

When the smoke clears look across the room
And all the people you know or would like to meet
Stand in stunned silence, heads tilted slightly to the right (yes, like David Caruso).
Carry your calculated indifference back to your room.
