Unlikeliest Corners April 20, 2007

From the unlikeliest corners emerges
what we least desire and most fear.
In curvaceous folds of our brains, but not too deep,
electrodes produce a little spark and no discernible energy.
Call your friends in the profession,
all the MDs, PhDs, and psychiatrics you need.
What can they prescribe without narcotics?
Where can they find your answers?
When will it happen?
Why would you believe them?
How can this be?

The priorities have not been prepared.
Keepsakes have been left threadbare.
Moral compass lies broken on the floor, having lost its magnetic north.
Karma is dead or breathing faintly.
Is it better to walk or drive the car?
